St Augustine Florida is the
oldest city in the United States. It's only ten minutes to the historic
district.
There is
lots of fun things to do at the beach. There's great fishing, walking,
biking and surfing. The homes for sale start at about $300,000. There are a few oceanfront beach homes for sale,
most starting $1,000,000+.
Investment Property
There is a lot new
construction but most investment properties are already built. If you
want to rent short term it's best to buy on the east side of A1A,
because most people don't want to cross the road to get to the beach.
There are plenty beachfront condos. The price goes up according to the
view. Oceanfront-ocean view - pool view and no view. The condos on the
west side of A1A tend to have more long term tenants, 3-6 months.
